POEMS

WINNER & LOSER

A winner is always a part of the answer
A loser is always a part of the problem

A winner always has a plan
A loser always has an excuse

A winner says, “Let me do it for you”
A loser says, “Its not my job”

A winner sees an answer in every problem
A loser sees a problem in every answer

A winner sees a green near every sun-drop
A loser sees a sun-drop near every green

The Winner says, “It may be difficult, but its possible”
The Loser says. “ It may be possible, but its difficult”

AND GOD SAID NO ……..

I asked God to take away my pride I asked God to make my handicapped child whole
And God said ‘NO’ And God said ‘NO’
He said it was not for him to take away He said her spirit is whole
But for me to give up Her body is only temporary

I asked God to grant me patience
And God said ‘NO’
He said that patience is a by-product of tribulation
It isn’t granted, it is earned.

I asked God to give me happiness I asked God to spare me pain
And God said ‘NO’ And God said ‘NO’
He said he gives blessings He said, “suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
Happiness is up to me and brings you closer to me

I asked God to make my spirit grow
And God said ‘NO’
He said that I must grow on my own
But he will prune me to make me fruitful

I asked God if he loved me I asked God to help me love others as much as
And God said ‘YES’ He loves me
He gave his only son who died for me And God said ,
And I will be in Heaven ‘Ah finally, you have the idea’
Someday because I believe

He who knows not, knows not he knows not
Is a fool – Shun him

He who knows not, knows he knows not
Is a Child – Help him

He who knows, knows not he knows
Is asleep – Wake Him

He who knows, knows he knows
Is wise – follow him.

One was never married and that’s his hell
Another is and that’s his plague

Marriage – Book of which the first chapter is written in poetry
And the remaining chapters in prose
